Once home to Modell’s Sporting Goods — a New York retail landmark that closed its doors in 2020 after more than a century in business — the historic Fulton Street building in Downtown Brooklyn has taken on a new life. Directly across from the Barclays Center, this former retail hub has been transformed into a basketball training facility designed to serve athletes and the community.

In collaboration with our partner National Equipment & Facilities Solutions, Jaypro Sports supplied ceiling-mounted folding backdrops, height adjuster systems, Contender Pro break-away basketball goals, custom wall pads with graphics, and Tip-N-Roll bleachers. By blending the building’s rich retail legacy with modern performance equipment, the renovation creates a space that honors Brooklyn’s sporting history while providing a state-of-the-art environment for player development.
