This summer’s FIFA World Cup made history as the first tournament jointly hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, running from June 11 through the final on July 19. The free public fan village ran July 6 through the tournament final, drawing visitors to Midtown Manhattan for live match broadcasts, youth clinics, and programming built around the pitch itself. It’s proof that the same equipment supporting a Tuesday night practice is built to the same standard as a World Cup fan celebration in the heart of New York City.
